Seeking an experienced OB/GYN/Breast Sonographer that is passionate and ready to join our busy clinical team serving the women of SWFL.

Job Role/Responsibilities:

  • Perform perinatal/GYN/breast diagnostic medical sonograms in accordance with protocols to assist the physicians with diagnosis and treatment.
  • Recognizes anatomical structures and differentiates artifact from normal or pathological processes.
  • Determine if anatomy is normal or abnormal; delineates the abnormality and extends the scope of the study appropriately.
  • Review patients’ medical history
  • Explain specific medical procedures to patients
  • Position patients for optimal imaging
  • Obtain Obstetrical Fetal heart tones, and fetal anatomy
  • Demonstrates skill and knowledge in use of all standard ultrasound equipment and a solid foundation in ultrasound theory
  • Able to perform imaging on all age groups

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer performing OB and gynecology imaging in an OB/GYN office or hospital setting required.
  • Completion of a formal education in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Radiologic Sciences
  • ARDMS board certification in OB/GYN
  • Active ARRT or ARDMS license
  • Anatomy Level I/II Experience (Preferred)
  • BLS Certificate (Optional)

Experience:

  • Medical Imaging Technicians: 2 years (Required)
  • OB/GYN: 2 years (Preferred)
  • License/Certification:
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • ARRT Certification (Required)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $35/hour depending on experience
