The ideal Patient Care Coordinator will have excellent phone and communication skills, able to work independently, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Answer phones with exceptional quality customer service skills.
- Schedule appointments and review medical records using EMR.
- Respond to patient requests with confidence regarding medical services, insurance policies, prescription requests, patient referrals, record request, and general inquiries.
- Identify patient needs & resolve problems by clarifying the issues to implement the best solution.
- Be an accountable and reliable team member.
- Meet regularly to review performance metrics, goals, and outcomes.
Experience:
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
- Computer skills: 3 years (Required)
- Electronic Medical Records experience: 1 year (Required)
- Phone skills: 1 year (Required)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

- Charge Entry & Collection of Payments
- Appointment Scheduling
- Procedure Authorizations
- Verification of Eligibility & Benefits
- Understanding insurance issues & account billing – Modifiers. CPT & ICD-10 Coding
- Be an accountable and reliable member of the team
Qualifications:
- Medical reception experience: 2 years (Required)
- Customer Service: 3 years (Required)
- Electronic Medical Records management: 1 year (Required)
- Athena experience (Preferred)
- Insurance verification (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience, from $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
